"For a number of years our company struggled to integrate new technologies and systems in response to isolated issues. Early on, the challenges were related to configuring and maintaining desktop computers, but soon complexity grew as systems were networked together and connected to the outside world via the internet.

One challenge we found in moving along the technology path was that we lacked a broader perspective of interrelated technologies, so our decision-making wasn't always as effective as we hoped. We would implement one technology, then a couple years later would implement a new one that had to be integrated into what we had. At that time we used words like "cobbled together" rather than "integrated". Eventually technologies began to converge and we took the opportunity to migrate key technologies toward a unified platform under Microsoft Servers.

For this, we decided, a consultant would be paramount to any chance of success.

With a small firm like ours, technology migration doesn't just affect a department - it can grind the entire company to a halt. We needed help to bring our technologies forward, simplify maintenance, improve reliability and security, and improve productivity - but we could not afford down-time. The right consultant would be critical, for sure.

And so, seven years ago we contacted AvailTech to consult on the project. Despite our fears, the project went without a hitch. Migration work was scheduled off hours and the most involved work was deployed over the weekend, to allow for testing and verification in order to minimize impact for workers. The project was a great success, and we have since utilized AvailTech exclusively for all of our IT planning, maintenance, upgrades and roll-outs.

I recommend AvailTech without hesitation. Without fail, they do what they say they will do - and then some. They have the experience to know when and how to best implement new technologies.
